Quote of the Day

Let the beauty that is you spill out of your beautiful, unique self. There are other, more dark things that fill us sometimes too. With that, and any negative thing you feel, embrace those things then let them go. You don’t have to pretend you don’t feel them, do, let it out, express yourself (in a non harmful manner to anyone else or yourself) and then move on to better things. Let the good inside of you, the light, the courage, the kindness, all the good things that feel you up flow, let it all flow through and from you.

To Be Honest

Live Unapologetically

We are all fallible, but it does not mean that we have to judge, blame, or demean ourselves. Every other person on the planet is in the same boat. The point though, is not to depend on others to live your life and be happy, that responsibility lies with you. You are who you are and your truth is your truth. We each have to be able to trust ourselves and depend on ourselves to live and be. Everyone has an opinion, everyone has their own perspective. They are not always right and they are not always wrong. You have your own opinions and perspective, and you are not always right and you are not always wrong either. The key is to know and trust yourself to make the right choices. Accept and take responsibility for your actions, whether they be good or bad, learn the lesson, and move on. You are not on this Earth to please anyone. You don’t need to please anyone. Do what makes you happy, do what you love. Be with those that make you happy and those you love. Accept yourself as you are and others as they are. There is always room for improvement and positive change. You are in control of your life, regardless of what others think, say, or do.

Words of Wisdom Wednesday

If we all learn to and continuously show our love, gratitide, and appreciation for each other, life would be a heck of a lot better and much happier. Why? Because we would be focusing on all the wonderful and good things that people do, the wonderful and good things in the world, and the happiness it brings. From that we would be more inspired, therefore we would all be doing more for each other and in turn ourselves by bettering the world. I mean, just imagine if majority of us were constantly trying to one up each other doing nice things for one another, in a friendly and none competitive way. Man humanity would be having a damn a good time. Let’s make it happen!

Graduations & Razorback Country

Howdy!! How are ya this fine day? Good I hope. I’d like to apologize for the week long hiatus, it was a spur if the moment thing. Honestly, I didn’t have a signal where I was and couldn’t post, so that resulted in the hiatus. But I’m back now. 😆

So! I was back in Razorback Country, aka Arkansas, this past weekend for my cousin’s high school graduation. It was great and I got to see a lot of my family that I haven’t seen in a while. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and fun. I love my family so freaking much! I am so blessed. And while in Razorback Country, I was able to snap a few before the journey home and I thought I’d share them with you. So here they are. Hope you like them! Have a marvelous day! Shaka & Stay Groovy my friend!!✌

Motivational Monday

It’s All On You

We’ve all got that small voice in our head that likes to spit hateful, mean, and disgusting things to us. And we’ve also got almost the entire rest of the world to do that too. They’re talking to us in our heads and out loud telling us we have to be this and we have to be that, we should be this and we should be that. They’re saying you’re not good enough, you can’t do it, you don’t have what it takes.

But it’s time for you to hear the truth.
At the end of the day, when it comes down to life and it’s real, true meaning, for all of us individually and as one people, it is all on you. We each have to do our part. We each have to silence all that inside and outside noise. That, my friends, is where the heart comes in. Finding yourself, being yourself, and NOT depending on what others say is when you realize and see what you are truly capable of. We are all connected and what we do does have affects on other people and their lives. But it is on you to be your best for you.

Things happen to us, and it’s not a matter of whether we deserve for those things to happen to us or not, that’s just life. Things will always happen to us. But at the end of the day, you have to know for yourself that you can make it. If you can’t do it for yourself then do it for those who love you, if you can’t do it for those who love you do it for yourself. You are powerful. You are strong. You have everything it takes to be your best. You have everything it takes to live for you. You have everything it takes.

Help yourself. Take care of yourself. Be yourself. Love yourself. Put in the work, put in the dedication, persevere, keep pushing, keep working, keep moving as you go on your journey. Happiness, love, everything that is important is there the entire time as you journey through this life. There will good and bad, hard and easy times, life will take more than it gives sometimes, life will give more than it takes sometimes. You will lose and lose and lose, and you will have many victories as well. Through it all, know that you have your own back and press forward. Life is a second by second deal. You can plan and look forward to what’s to come, I encourage it, but always remember that the present, now, is what matters. Not the past and not the future, this moment is what counts. Live it, enjoy it, embrace it. Do right by your fellow man and do right by yourself.
