Thoughtful Tuesday

People are always trying to encumber others with their judgments, preconceived ideas, and misconceptions. And most of the time it works. But we must each realize the truth, that other people’s ideas, hopes, plans, and dreams for us are not our business. Your dream, plan, and wants are your own and are the only things that you should honor. The people who truly love and care for you only want the best for you, and they trust you to and believe you can do what’s best for you.

Too many times we let others determine and decide where we go, what we do, what moves we do and don’t make. That is what gets us into trouble and leads down a path of misery, hurt, and pain. We have to honor, love, trust, and respect ourselves enough to live for ourselves and not let others do it for us. You are solely responsible for yourself. We have got to stop depending on others to make things happen for us.

We each have to create the opportunities and life we want. It’s easier said than done but it is possible. There are so many who are doing it right now. They are who they are, doing what they love, and if they haven’t reached that point yet, they’re working towards it. They make no excuses and when they fall short or fail, they pick themselves up and keep moving forward. They don’t concern themselves with the future because they are here, right now, in this moment living and enjoying it. And truthfully, when you do what you need to now and focus on what you love now, there is no need to concern yourself with the future becaue it will already be taken care of because you’re doing what has to be done now.

Be your own hero. Stand up and live. It is up to each of us to do and be ourselves and not let anything stop us. Always do your best. Never give up.
