Keep Going

If you don’t fight, you don’t win. If you don’t make a way, you’ll never get anywhere.

Struggle is a part of the journey. We have to stay on our grind and remember that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t give up. Never give up. Stand your ground. I know it’s hard and it seems like the whole world is against you, and you can’t find get a leg up. But you can make it. You gotta push through. You gotta fight. You gotta keep going. It’s not about how strong you are when things are great, it’s about how strong you are, your will, and your endurance when things suck, a lot. You have to find a way to be and stay positive, you always look on the bright side, to find a bright side when there isn’t one. A lot of us are going through some crap right now, and have been for a while. But I want to encourage you to keep going. Keep working, keep following your dreams, keep your faith, keep your drive, fight, endure, don’t stop. You may falter, or come up short, or fall, but no matter what, just keep going. This life is too short and you are too precious to waste away when you don’t have to. Just do your best, in all that you do, and believe. Believe in yourself, believe in your fellow man, believe in this amazing world. There are a lot of scary things out there that cause worry, but worrying and fretting don’t help you, they hinder you, so try not to give in to it. Keep your head up and your heart strong. I believe in you.

Take Charge

You are a living being. No living being on this planet except humans lives under unnecessary circumstances. And we live under these circumstances because we choose to not because we have to. We don’t have to put up with a detrimental system. We can do what we want, when we want, how we want. Yes, it is a challenge to start because of the system already set in place, but challenges are opportunities and we can overcome anything. You are not required to live someone else’s standards. You are not required to do or be anything other than what you want and choose. Take control of your life. Think for yourself. Do for yourself. You can make things happen.

You are not a machine. You are a human being meant to live, love, experience, and enjoy life. If you are not doing any of those things you are not living and you are not getting all that you deserve. So do something about it. You have everything you need to succeed and achieve. It’s now or never.

Your Responsibility

Learn from your mistakes. And even better, learn from the mistakes of others. When you make a decision, good or bad, you have to deal with the consequences. One thing that does not help anyone, especially yourself, is getting hung up on whatever decision you made. Getting stuck in the past, dwelling on it, and not doing anything about it does nothing and helps no one, so there is no point in doing that. Deal with what you’ve done. If you made a positive choice, you will deal with the consequences that come with that decision. If you made a negative choice, you deal with the consequences of that decision and learn what not to do and how to handle that situation that you got yourself in. Take what you can from whatever experience you’re in, or someone else is in or has been in, and move forward. Use that knowledge and take advantage of the chance you have to do and be better. When you know better, you then have a responsibility to not let certain things happen again because it is something you can control. So learn and do what’s right.

Fight

These words have stuck with me since hearing them years ago. There is so much good in this world, in this life. There is goodness in children, goodness in people, goodness in animals, goodness in nature, goodness in what we can be, goodness in who we are, goodness in the potential of everything. And it’s all worth it. It’s all worth fighting for. It’s worth all the energy in the world. The good is worth believing in. You are worth believing in. And you are worth fighting for. There is no rest for wicked, and there is no rest for those who fight against it.

Life is a journey in which there are constant battles to be fought. The winning of the war though, comes down to one thing, how you choose to live your life. We each have two choices in life, give in or take charge. If you give in, you lose, you choose not to be and do all you can to enjoy and make the most of this experience. If you take charge you win the war, you control your destiny. There was a quote in an episode of a show called Arrow that struck a chord in me. “Living is not for the weak.” This is true, in nature and in the way of life for humanity. We have to be willing to live, we have to be willing to do what it takes to get what we want and need, we have to be willing to fight. We’ve got to get over ourselves and come together. We have to make things work. We have to deal with whatever is put in our path.

Things, life, this experience here on Earth, will not be a good one unless you decide to make it that way. There are uphill battles and downhill battles, lessons to learn, moments of weakness and tragedy, but we can make it through it all. No matter what life throws at us, we can come out of it alive and stronger. There’s this thing called balance. The balance of things means there’s bad and good, struggle and smooth sailing, happy and sad, injustice and justice, and so on. Situations are lessons and those lessons are also teachers, in how to be and do better. We simply have to make the choice to get through. We can do it. We can make it. “You have all the weapons you need. Now fight.”

Don’t Be Afraid To Fail

Failure is not weakness. Failure is a lesson on how to better, what to do, and what not to do and a teacher in that same way. Failure is a helper. If you never try, you’ll never fail, and if you never fail, you’ll never succeed. When you have the strength to fail and get back up, there is nothing that can stop you.

Care

None of us want to feel left out, excluded, seperated, or alone; so don’t be that way to others. Be inclusive. Talk to someone who needs it, include that introverted person who has a hard time getting involved. Read between the lines, people won’t always be able to just be a part of things, sometimes they need a little push and encouragement. I used to be very much the introverted recluse who wanted to be a part but didn’t know how, and still am that way to an extent. I’m lucky enough to have wonderful people in my life who’ve helped me to grow and be a little more open to putting myself out there. But that’s not the case for a lot of other people in the world. So help people out, be kind, show love, show care, let people know they matter. And remember that you matter too.
