This is one of the biggest and most important lessons we as humanity need to learn and embody. There are countless ways to be and do wrong, and as history has shown us, belittling and demeaning ourselves for our wrong doings and others for their wrong doings helps nothing and no one. We are humans, we are all going to be wrong, a lot, over the course of our lives.
We must show each other truth with love, kindness, and understanding. Through these we can move forward, be better, and do better. It takes genuine work to learn from our mistakes and progress. Let us give each other space to do so. No one is going to get everything right, let alone the first time, and no one knows all. We can not except that of one another nor treat others as if this is true.
Genuine understanding, kindness, compassion, willingness, communication, and love is how we get through to one another. We must be gentle and firm with one another as the situation/circumstance calls for. We must learn to flow with the lessons that come our way; they will be hard, difficult, stressful, sad, painful, and hurtful, and they will show and teach us what we need to know.
Don’t take anything personally and be willing to grow and learn from every experience. As the great Eckhart Tolle said “I am not my thoughts, emotions, sense perceptions, and experiences. I am not the content of my life.I am Life. I am the space in which all things happen. I am consciousness. I am the Now. I Am.” And so it is, for us all. We are not held to our experiences, we need only learn and grow from them and help each other along the way.
