I Am Enough

Repeat this to yourself everyday, and especially when you really need to. Marisa Peer made this exercise and I am grateful to have it and wanted to share it with you.

Say: “I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough. I am enough.

Say it, believe it.

You are enough.

You are enough. YOU are enough.

You are enough. You ARE enough.

You are enough. You are ENOUGH.

YOU. ARE. ENOUGH.

Awaken

Being content with yourself is a journey. It takes constant energy and attention everyday. And it’s quite the feat. Being content, let alone realizing that you already are and have everything you need and letting that be, is a process.

Most of us have learned to beat ourselves up and make ourselves suffer more than necessary through the cycle of our parents and ancestors far back trying to make us in their image rather than just letting us be as we are and learn in our own time and ways as we go.  It is no one’s fault that that became the norm, we can only start with what we’re given after all, but it is on us if we realize the issue and do nothing to better it. A lot of us have come to open up and see the breaks and cracks within ourselves and lives and the way society works; it is now up to us to heal, do, and be better, for ourselves firstly and for future generations.

The important thing to remember is that this, this journey, is yours, it is for you. You owe no one. No one. Not your family, friends, peers, colleagues, boss, no one. This is life. This is the chance you have right now to live, to be, to explore, to experience. Since the industrial age began we’ve come to this space in which having a job and working ourselves to death for money to get by for the few in power is the way of life and the way of the world. Forget that. That is not life nor the purpose of life.

We have to know ourselves, our worth, what we do and do not deserve. We have to go back to the time of knowing and living our truths. We have to remember the true purpose of life, to live and experience, to love and be loved, to enjoy and savor. Long ago, we lived with the Earth and her creatures, we respected everyone and everything. We’ve never been societies definition of perfect, which does not matter anyway, at all, in any shape, form, or fashion; but we lived according to our personal flow and connected spiritually with each other, all given to us, and life as a whole. It is time we return.

In this day in time, we are experiencing something that has not been done in a long time, not in this way, and not to this degree. We are experiencing personal freedom, true unity, and genuine acceptance. It is alarming and foreign to many of the older generation, save the few who are and were awake the whole time or eventually became aware, though it is beginning to spread like wildfire. It is the balance of life. For too long has separatism, hatefulness, greed, and willful blindness run rampant. We are entering a new era of peace, unity, acceptance, care, kindness, goodness, justice, honesty, truthfulness, consciousness, self-awareness, self-care, self-acceptance, self-love, and pure joy.

The point is, begin your process. Begin and live your personal journey. Start and don’t stop for anything or anyone. When you make a mistake, acknowledge it, accept it, do your best to be and do better, and if you’ve hurt someone, apologize, mean it, and make a concerted effort to not make the same mistake. Do not beat yourself up, even if you do make the same mistake repeatedly and in general. It does no good and helps neither yourself or others to prolong and worsen your suffering. We all have to go through   trials and obstacles, we all have to hurt and feel pain because it is a part of life and contributes to making life the beautiful, insane experience that it is. It is necessary just like good times, simple times, and enjoyable times.

Repeat this as necessary: “I am not my thoughts, emotions, sense perceptions, and experiences. I am not the content of my life, I am Life, I am the space in which all things happen. I am consciousness. I am the Now. I Am.”* I am not my body, other peoples expectations, other peoples wants, other peoples judgments or opinions. I am what, who, and how I choose to be. I am that I Am.

You are a beautiful, unique, special, incredible, wonderful being. You are not from this life, you are just visiting for a while. Enjoy your experience here. This is all temporary. Make the most of this moment. Show up and do your best, that is all that is required. You have to care and you have to try, continuously. Nothing is certain and you can not be given what you already have. Use your focus, will, power, grit, perseverance, and love to guide you. You are a free spirit that cannot be contained. You are a light that can never be dimmed by another. The only thing standing in your way is you. Find a way or make a way. Flow and grow. You are love, so be it.

*Quote from Eckhart Tolle

What I’m Learning

Life is a journey in which nothing is meant to be held onto, except Love and Light. Good and Evil have their respective parts in each of our journeys, but what really matters is what we do, how we handle things, and our perspective.

The way to go is to let life flow. Enjoy what you can while you have it when you have it, and do your best to learn and grow through darker times. Everything is a process, and struggle is a part of the story. The key is to just go with it.

Do not let yourself get attached to anything and revere everything as the wonderous gift that it is. Fear will come and go, doubt, pain, anger, sadness, hurt will all make their regular appearances. But do not dwell in any of them.

The past is a treacherous place to dwell. Do not hold on to it. Let it go. Learn what you can then move on and be better. Nothing good comes from staying stagnant in one place.

And an imperative lesson, always be on the learning curve. Always aim to grow from and through everything. It is better and far more helpful to choose Love and Light. It can only ever work out for your good.

Hope, do not despair.

Think for yourself, be creative, use your imagination.

Grow through what you go through. (VERY IMPORTANT)

Take the world as it is and work toward how you want it to be.

                                       ACT.

Actions matter most in this life. What you choose to do means everything. And there are consequences to everything. Be mindful of what you do and how you do it.

And especially, learn to master forgiveness. Forgiveness is freedom. Freedom from the past and unnecessary suffering. It excuses nothing but allows you to not be bound by he past and the darkness. But in some cases, darkness is meant to take hold for us to learn and grow. It’s all about perception and discernment. Use them wisely and remember to not get stuck on the dark places.

The Essentials

“I focus on what is truly essential”, an affirmation I have written within a list on my vision board. At the beginning, middle, and end of every unpromised day that you see, what truly matters?

Actions and Effort.

It all comes down to what you did and did you do your best, for yourself and others. That is the main and base focus of life. You’re here to visit for a while and experience life. So next time you start stressing, and better yet, before that even happens, always keep in mind the true essentials of life. Do what you love, pursue your passions, be grateful and thankful, do your best, and never give up, ever. You gotta keep on keepin’ on. This life can be tough and things can get rough but it’s all in how you handle it. Always be on the learning curve and continually grow.

Words of Wisdom

Learn as you go, build as you grow.

This phrase hit me one day as I was looking through a visionboard of mine (I have 3). It is what I’ve seen, and see, so many people live out. You must be adaptable and always on the learning curve. Life is ever-changing, as we ourselves are, and we must keep up in order to succeed and thrive. It’s also critical that you build, continuously, on the lessons that come your way; and even smarter from those of the people around you. Put yourself in the right position to learn and grow through willingness and determination and make your way to the life you wish to live and the person you wish to be.

Our Fate Is In Our Hands

Want change? Take action.

Get involved. Get in the know with your local government and participate, join in community activities, rally for causes that matter and are special to you. We gave our control away a long, long, long time ago, it’s time to take our control back. And it is imperative that we move now. We have to start working and never stop. The future is dependent upon our actions this very moment.  Be responsible in what and how you consume, in what you do, in how you approach life as a whole. You are a part of this world, so everything you do honestly does matter. Let’s come together and do better.

Changing the Narrative of Communication

When it comes to communication in the past and in the present, we have fallen and continue to fall utterly short. There are things we do not do or see because we are solely focused on ourselves and stifle ourselves and others through selfishness. So how do we make things better, for everyone? Communication. Communication with ourselves firstly and then those around us. How do we communicate, genuinely and effectively?Acknowledgement. Acceptance. Action.

Whether the topic of discussion or conversation is uncomfortable to you or not, it is necessary and fair to talk about issues that directly and indirectly affect others; whether we, ourselves, deal with the same issues or not. Our sight must go beyond ourselves, because what affects one surely affects another. We were put on this planet together and therefore are responsible for taking care of each other. We must take care of ourselves and look out for our fellow beings.

Help where you can, do what you can, be where you can, be what you can to those who need help. We are all works in progress, constantly learning and re-learning, and continuously growing. We all need the open, safe space to do so and the kindness, compassion, empathy, goodness, will, grit, and confidence to do so and be there for others as they do too. Work with others as you work with yourself. Give others the same treatment you give yourself when you are processing things (lessons and such).

Love. It is simple. Be patient, be kind, be understanding. Love all. Love is easy, people not so much. But when you apply love to yourself and then to the others around you, what a symphony of light and greatness it creates. It’s wonderous. Be ever-loving in each and every moment to the best of your ability. Love will never lead you astray. Love is the base, the foundation, the center, the reason, the whole of all of this; the truth of life itself. Let it lead you, let it guide you, let it fill you. Love is the key to communication.

Acknowledge yourself and others, accept yourself and others as is, and love. Love, love, love. Live and love as thoroughly and as best you can. That’s all. Just do your best at all times and stay focused on love. Always come back to it.
