Quote of the Day

“Master your internal force. Harness your internal force.” – Danny Rand, Iron Fist (Marvel)

*

It takes consistent, dedicated work, every day. It takes patience, calm, empathy, understanding, and love. It is a journey, every single moment, of every single day you are given. The more you practice the better you become, the better you become the greater your experience. Show up and do your best. Get living.

Personal Affirmation

I am limitless. I define myself.

*

The only limits you will ever have are the ones you inflict upon yourself. No one can ever take away your spirit, your heart, your soul, or your light. It is yours and yours alone. People can physically infringe upon you and cause you literal harm, but when it comes to your mind and spirit, that’s all you.

Many of us are taught stifling and limiting ideals and beliefs when we are children. It is our job to unlearn those things. We must live our own lives and find out for ourselves what it is and isn’t, who is and isn’t, what does and doesn’t serve us. It is up to us to live, try, explore, think, and do for ourselves. –  AJ

Pain

Pain is necessary, suffering is not

Pursue your passions, accept your struggle. Let your pain shape you, and love transform you.”

         – Mirtha Michelle, Castro Mármol

Pain is a tool to be used and learned from. It is meant to help us. It assists in our growth, which makes it an important factor in life. We just need to remember this, and pain itself, as well as letting go after the experience, won’t be an issue.

Suffering, on the other hand, is neither necessary or useful. Suffering begets extra negativity that we do not need. It is what causes us to hold on. Holding onto things, emotions, ideas, and people we do not need and that do not serve us is unnecessary. We do not have to suffer. Suffering is a self-inflicted mechanism that we have 100% control over.

Accept what you can not change, and learn to change what you can. Always be on the learning curve. Pain is your ally.

Feel and let go. Attach yourself to nothing except Love.

Love: A Verb and A Being

EVOLution. REVOLution. sOLUTION.

There is a reason that these words are framed this way.

Love is a verb. Love is action. Love is what you do. And love is a being. It is a literal, physical form.

It is you. It is me. It is US. WE Are Love. We are the force that saves us. We are the force that creates, destroys, and makes change. We are ever evolving.

Borders do not exist, they were created. Races do not exist, they were created. Class does not exist, it was created. Separation is not the answer, unity is. Being involved with life is the answer. Caring about yourself and others is the answer.

Show up, do your best, and always come back to Love. Come home to yourself.

No More Complacency

Complacency is the death of personal growth. Complacency is the death of  love. Complacency is the detriment of forward motion.

It does not do to go with what has been laid out in front of you just because it is what someone else wants for you, or tells you. It does not do to follow people blindly and not read between the lines. It does not do to let your decisions be made for you without your consent or consideration.

You have to care. You have to work. You have to try. You have to do for yourself. You are responsible. You are accountable for everything you do and everything you do not do.

The way your life is, the way the world is, and the way it works is a direct reflection of you and your choices. Each of us is a part of this world and we what do and don’t do, what we tolerate and do not tolerate creates the life that we live.

It is our duty, firstly to ourselves and then to those around us, to show up. We need to show up for ourselves and show up for others. It is time that we take our lives in to our own hands. Demand more of yourself. Push yourself further. Test yourself and your boundaries. Be willing to get to know yourself, your worth, and what you’re capable of. And encourage others to do the same.

We create our realities. Let us do so with love, care, kindness, goodness, respect, and consideration for all. When we realize our own worth and potential, and live it, we make life better. Do it. Fight for yourself. Fight for others.

Do not be complacent. Decide. Make your own choices. Do for yourself and do for others. This is your time and your chance to make the most of all you’ve been given.

The Key

“You attract what you are, not what you want.”
We each have to put in the effort to get what we want and need. Be all that you wish. Work on yourself, every day. There is no limit to what you can achieve when you act of love and with love.

Greatness 101

Today’s greatness tips come from one of my spiritual leaders, John Assaraf. Follow him on Facebook to see his talks on Tuesdays, 11 am central time.

Learn, Practice, Repeat

We must find out what we don’t know and need to know, then build upon that. Life is an everyday practice in and of itself, so it goes for all else. A problem that many of us have, I’m speaking from experience here, is that we start practicing but then we get tired and give up or either take a break and settle into break mode. We have to learn to fight past that. This is life, life is work; made all the more difficult when we add on unnecessary suffering. Life is simple, some situations and circumstances can be difficult, but we need not get caught up on that. Difficulty is neither here nor there because we can make it through anything we set our minds to.  The point is, learn to whether the storm, and keep moving. We may be tired but life doesn’t stop, and neither should we. We come out all the stronger when we push through.

Learn, Practice, Repeat. Learn, Practice, Repeat. Learn, Practice, Repeat.
