We Are The Remedy

“Where there is poison there is a remedy” – Mage (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword film)

I’ve used his quote before but it sits especially with me right now in this time because it is so true and absolutely vital that we each take this to heart. We are in a very important and incredible time in history and humanity.

The tide has turned and it is the dawn of a new era. A very different world than we’ve known in a long time, if not ever. And this quote speaks to this truth. There has been a long reign of poisoning that has gone on in the world, very long and very sickening. But that time is ending. We are entering into a new space and moment. A space and moment in which Love rules. It is a time of healing, a time of rediscovering, an unbecoming. This is the era of Returning.

There was a time in history where humanity was in tune. We were in tune with ourselves, we were in tune with nature, we were in tune with life. We celebrated living and savored he experience. We did not tie ourselves down with unnecessary worries, things, and work. We did what was vital to our well being, nothing more. We coexisted with our surroundings and made due with what we could make and create.

I love learning about that time in history. It was so pure and rich and vibrant with culture, and compassion, and appreciation for all that is light and good and a profound understanding of what is wrong and how to handle it. We are now returning to that. More people, now than ever, are accepting themselves, their truest, deepest, rawest, purest, most beautiful and natural self. People are more accepting of others and unbothered by the things that make us each unique. We are beginning to celebrate ourselves and one another again. We are beginning to take up for and support one another like never before.

It is truly a beautiful time to be alive. But as history goes, chaos precedes change, good and positive change. But do not be weary and do not fret. As long as each of us does our best and is lives in and through love, all will be well. Let not chaos control your heart, let love rule. Let Love be your guide.

Love: A Verb and A Being

EVOLution. REVOLution. sOLUTION.

There is a reason that these words are framed this way.

Love is a verb. Love is action. Love is what you do. And love is a being. It is a literal, physical form.

It is you. It is me. It is US. WE Are Love. We are the force that saves us. We are the force that creates, destroys, and makes change. We are ever evolving.

Borders do not exist, they were created. Races do not exist, they were created. Class does not exist, it was created. Separation is not the answer, unity is. Being involved with life is the answer. Caring about yourself and others is the answer.

Show up, do your best, and always come back to Love. Come home to yourself.

The Answer

Other people are not our enemy. Hate, Fear, Negativity, Doubt, Seperation, and Ignorance are the names that our enemy goes by. We must not forget that these are the ones that destroy our relationships, with ourselves and others. These are the ones that make life more difficult than necessary. These are the ones that kill, steal, and destroy. It is these we must combat at all times.

People will always be subject to one of these. That is why we must equip ourselves with the means and knowledge to overcome and conquer them. It is through Kindness, Compassion, Unity, Understanding, Patience, Calm, Goodness, Light, Good Vibes, Good Energy, Empathy, Love, and Service that we become victorious over the enemy. We will lose battles, but we win the war.

We are the answer to our own problems. It is through each of us that we grow and better life and the world. It is through personal relationship that we grow and better life and the world. Do what you love, love yourself, love others, be grateful, be kind, do good, listen to yourself, listen to others, believe in yourself, believe in others. When we are connected and happy with ourselves our connection to all else grows and strengthens.

All it takes in life is the courage and bravery to take the necessary risks to truly and genuinely live. To live for ourselves and do for ourselves which in turn benefits everyone and everything around us. When love is the focus and the way, we never lose. When all of our experiences become lessons that we grow through and from, we never lose. When peace, action, empathy, unity, understanding, and love lead, we all win.

Even those that subscribe and succumb to the hate, fear, negativity, doubt, separation, and ignorance will benefit from our love and our power because that’s what love does. It betters everyone and everything. When love abides there is always room and time for change. Real change. All it takes is you. Be ready and willing to actively work, continuously, on yourself and do what you love.

When we are each doing our part and moving forward together,  nothing and no one can stop us. Let us rise up, in Love, together. Let us move forward and grow, together. Let us usher in a new era of goodness, kindness, creativity, unity, compassion, empathy, understanding, and Love. We can do this. It has already begun. It’s never too late to choose Love. Choose Love, today and every day.

The Link in the Equation

” – but our countries are counting on us to miss the link… they are painting the enemy foreign and selling the product domestic… so let this build your anger for the depletion of our oceans, but make sure your anger goes to the right recipient.”

– Madison Stewart (aka Shark Girl)

This is the truth and the key to taking back our power as the people. We have to realize, acknowledge, and accept the atrocities and the depth of the atrocities we and our governments create. We have to first realize that what is happening is wrong and then that we continue it and normalize it every single day by our continued participation. The power lies with us.

We are the ones who fuel our oppressors. We are the ones who do the work for them and make their wrong doings possible, through willful blindness and fearful compliance. We can no longer exist under these circumstances; especially when we do not have to. We are under no obligation to add to our own suffering. And the only way to change things is to take radical action.

People were made to be afraid of that word. It is a powerful one, because when we become radical, things get done, things change. We have to start putting our best interest first instead of the oppressors. Anger is a useful tool if applied in the right way and mindset. It can be used to fuel good, creative, universal change, which is much needed right now.

In life, there are very few requirements in the grand scheme of things, and the #1 requirement is that you show up. You have to show up, for yourself and others. You have to act and take things into your own hands. You make the difference between war and peace, justice and injustice, hope and despair, right and wrong. You are the link that creates the world around you.

Your inaction is just as vital, and more in some cases, as your action. Your choices truly do matter. You truly do matter. Your life and presence here in this world, at this moment in time make ALL the difference. You’ve got to be willing to take charge of your own life, see things as they are, and do what you can to be a positive and helpful force during your journey here.
“- the world does not need people who hope for change right now, it needs people who will fight for it.”   – Madison Stewart

Life Lesson

Dealing with your own pain is hard enough, but dealing with that of someone else, especially someone you care for and love deeply, is a whole other thing all together.

You can’t fight someone in their struggle, let alone about their struggle. They have to heal in their own way, in their own time. All you can do is be present for them, patient, understanding, honest, truthful, supportive, and loving. It’s not a walk in the park. Seeing another suffer is one of the absolute worst things that we have to deal with as humans. But it happens. And we have to be there for people in their struggle. They have to deal and we need to be there for them. Because though their struggle affects us, it’s not about us, it’s about them. Remember that. We all have to learn.

Support Support SUPPORT

I encourage and implore you all to be a part of making this world a better, inclusive, happier place. Support businesses and people that make and grow things naturally and organically. Support people and businesses that are inclusive of all people. Support people and businesses that are genuine in what they do and their care for those they serve. Support groups of people that are in need of help and assistance; i.e. mental health, physical health, spiritual health, intellectual health. Be there for your fellow beings. Let people know you care and you support them. Give your energy and space to those you love. Give your energy and space to those who need you.

We have to do for each other and ourselves. We have to fight for, support, and stand beside one another. We have to build each other up and have each other’s backs. No one can live this life alone. None of us can make things better alone. We need one another. We were given each other for a reason. We’re not always going to agree 100% of the time, we’re not going to always get along, we’re not going to always understand each other’s situations, the cool part is, we don’t have to. We can love and take care of one another and not always agree, see eye to eye, or understand each other without degrading, harming, and demeaning one another. Tolerance can no longer be acceptable. We need to actually care about ourselves and one another and be concerned for each other’s well being.

Support nature and the environment by joining and giving to groups and individuals that deal directly with nature and the enviornment (Cowspiracy, Madison Stewart, Bindi Irwin). Support justice by getting to know and getting involved with your local government. Support your fellow people by giving your energy and time to them in helping them get what they need, whether that be homeless people, children with disabilities, or in whatever touches your heart to be a part of. Do your research and support anyone and everyone you can that helps, encourages, and builds us up and gives to the betterment of this world and all its living creatures as a whole.

Your voice and your support matters a lot. Do what you can, where you can, how you can, as often as you can. We are One World, One People, One Love.

Woman Up! (Marvel Edition)

Howdy! So, Woman Up!* is a series of posts I’ll be doing on my favorite female hero’s, women who inspire me and who I believe can motivate us all, female and male alike. Women have come a ways from where we used to be but yet we still have far to go. That starts with us celebrating, building up, and loving one another. So this is in support, solidarity, and sisterhood of all my fellow Goddesses.

“Compromise where you can. Where you can’t, don’t. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say ‘no, you move’.”
               – Margaret “Peggy” Carter
                       (Captain America)

These words resonate very deeply with me spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. It has been a very personal battle for me throughout my life to do just this, compromise when I can and to stand firm when I can not, to be strong and steadfast in who and what I am, and to stand for what’s right when I should. I can be quite timid, quiet, and very hidden inside my shell. But in recent years, and more recent time, I have learned to embrace the wise words of one of my favorite heroes, Peggy Carter. Do what you can, where you can, how you can, when you can. And when you can’t, stand fast. Do not be deterred by fear, hatred, anger, or any type negativity. Be true to yourself and your heart and always do what’s right. Know your value.

Peggy Carter represents not only the woman, but the person that I know I can and want to be. She embodies strength, unbreakable will power, perseverance, dedication, determination, love, kindness, goodness, care, intelligence, beauty, badassery, hope, faith, light, skill, grit, confidence, patience, control, calm, passion, control, purpose, self-discipline, and the full potential of women. There is so much power inside of us. All we have to do is embrace that power. We can do anything we want when we set our minds to it. We are unstoppable in the pursuit of what we love and if we’re willing to fight for it and never back down, we can overcome anything and have, do, and be what and who we want. Peggy was fearless and constant in her daily life to be and do the best she could at what she wanted. That same fearlessness and consistency lives within us too ladies. I know we’re not all fiery and fierce like agent Carter, but we can be in our own personal ways. All it takes is practice. Keep at it and go for it with your whole heart.

This is why I love stories, fiction and non-fiction. – I’m a HUUUGE Marvel fan!!!!!!!!!- They teach us so much in simple but exciting and interesting terms and ways. This is why the Arts are so important and imperative to humanity. Through the Arts we connect, learn, and grow. So celebrate, embrace, and enjoy my friends! There’s so much out there to love, appreciate, and learn from. Celebrate and support whatever it is that you love and that brings you joy. It’s important to do so.

* “Woman Up!” is the phrase said by The animated character Go-Go from the movie Big Hero 6. I love her character, really loved her catchphrase, and thought it was a fitting title for these posts. So yeah, just giving credit where credit is due, the phrase is not mine. But if you got that reference before I pointed it out, we’re nerd buddies!!
